This is a fantastic little microscope, very easy to use and well designed. I acquired it as a gift for my girlfriend. She loves it and it is very relaxing to use. I did however have some problems when trying to take images. Sometimes the screen on the handheld Bresser is not clear enough and there is a lot of noise on the images, but this was not too much a problem. I did have a lot of trouble when trying to get the resolution down to a more instant camera like 2048 x 1536 and while capture 640×840 images. I do not think this would be the fault of the camera as I never got quite these resolution when the camera log was not clear. Any solution to this would be a good thing. Performance wise the microscope is also a little slow, I tried my hand at using it to view an ultraviewer mounted opthalmoscope. I was very slow and the resolution for example was too zoomed in and the online guide system was useless.
And the Bresser USB microscope software is a little let down. I downloaded the user manual and it starts ok however searching the manual is a huge problem. Can easily spend half an hour or more trying to find a specific thing in the manual. Lots of obscure buttons along the side of the microscope and to switch between colours I had to use the buttons on the main unit not the software controls. Although is is an excellent microscope it does need a lot of improvement if I were to buy one for myself.

I recently bought this microscope from ebay for just over £100, and I am not disappointed. I did do a lot of research on this particular product before purchasing it. Most importantly I wanted to make sure that it was compatible with my computer, as I am skeptical about this and a lot of other things online.
