Both Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Photoshop Elements are free programs that are easy to use. However, some consumers prefer Adobe Photoshop over Photoshop Elements. The front-end web code powering this beta release is designed to be modular and extendable. This means it can be built out to serve additional web features in the future. This also means that the whole code-base can be replaced or modified with more modern, more efficient, web technologies.

For today, though, the most exciting thing about this beta release is it’s an experiment to shake things up and explore new ways to distribute software to the web, and soak up improvements in software technologies based on actual need and use.
