The Eraser tool lets you erase areas of the photo, similar to the eraser in chalk board art, leaving behind a clean, blank spot. It also has the capability to remove areas of pixels in specific shapes, like removing a cutout face from a family portrait.

The Magic Wand tool, available in both the Selection tool and Fill tool, allows you to select a color or area of a photo and automatically remove similar areas of color. The gradients of the Magic Wand tool allow you to choose from a wide variety of different cool or warm colors and create simple or complex patterns.
